As time goes by more and more capable phones, are being produced, allowing not just trading, but many online businesses or activities to be fully remote and on the go (so long as you have a good/stable internet connection). Here I share with you my option on the best phone for trading stocks/forex/crypto etc.
What should you look for in a trading smartphone?
As mentioned before, trading has become more popular and as a direct result so has mobile trading. I am certain that for someone who is looking for a trading smartphone, you would have seen in some way or another, people online posting trading strategies off their cellular device.
Screen Size/ Screen Responsiveness
From my experiences, a screen six of 6”(inches) plus is ideal. Although you may be able to manage with a smaller screen (recommend not going below 5.5”) having a longer and even wider screen plays a big role in your mobile trading efficiency. Especially for those who may have bigger hands and or fingers.
The Responsiveness of the screen is also key. You wouldn’t want to be tapping your screen and your trades aren’t being executed or the charting tools are not being guided correctly, it can become a bit frustrating. So included in this list are smartphones I believe cover those aspects.
Battery Life
Another feature in your smartphone to be wary of is whether or not it will not only perform well, but also go the distance. A phone that has at least 8 hours of “active” use should be more than enough for trading as well as day to day tasks.
OS (Operating System)
Due to some recent changes and my personal bias to the trading App Metatrader 4, I have not included any iphones in this list. With any changes in the future, I will be sure to update the list. I have also excluded Chinese brands (due to certain carrier conflicts.
Though they may not be in the list, I will mention that in terms of battery life, the iphone still remains ahead of the pack. I also like the user interface of Apple’s programs as well. If you are a strict iphone user then I recommend going with the iPhone 13 Pro (If you are okay with using other trading platforms, I would probably stick more to IOS). And for those unconcerned with other mobile brands I recommend the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
A great foldable phone that is easy to carry around. The long 6.7” dynamic AMOLED display makes it fantastic for charting. The screen itself has a 120 Hz refresh rate and it can be used just like any other smartphone when it isn’t folded. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor ensures that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 performs in all assignments.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the cutting-edge smartphone. It has a wonderful display which is good under all light conditions , making it great for trading on the go regardless of environment. The S22 Ultra also has very fast charging and an S Pen- something that can also be used day to day for stock trading (or any other you may indulge in). The camera on this smartphone along with the others on the list is outstanding, increasing its use outside of just trading.
Considering the price point for the S22 Ultra, a good alternative would be the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+,a much more affordable option (though renewed). You should only go with the S22 ultra if cost isn’t an issue (and you can always put the money into trading and buy a cheaper phone :)).

Google Pixel 7 Pro
The Pixel 7 Pro, like the others on this list, seems to have it all: a big, 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a large. It also comes stock with a 5,000mAh battery inside, an amazing camera and Google’s new Tensor G2 chip with powerful AI and machine learning capabilities.
